Big Beaver Road
Named for the corporate parkway that runs the length of Troy, this exhibition gathers a new body of paintings of the city's industrial corridors — divided roads, landscaped setbacks, reflective office façades and retention ponds, most of them composed as if seen through a windshield. Alongside the paintings, a suite of drawings returns to the cul-de-sac: the same curved street rendered again and again, emptied of people and reduced to driveways, garage doors and arcs of pavement.
